Using The Library
Anyone may use the Library's resources within the library for free. However, you must be a member to borrow library materials. Our Library is a member of the Parkland Regional Library and our Online Catalogue includes books from member libraries.

- Reference materials on CD-ROM such as encyclopedias and government materials

Reciprocal Membership Agreements:
Camrose Public Library has agreements in place with Edmonton Public Library and Tofield Municipal Library. Camrose Public Library members with current library memberships may purchase a membership card from either of these libraries at the same rate as residents.
The Alberta (TAL) Card
Members can apply for a TAL Card which can be used at over 240 TAL member libraries. This permits patrons to borrow 5 books. Holds and Interlibrary loans are not permitted on a TAL card. For more information, please click on either link below.

| Augustana Students Please see the Augustana Library to receive your TAL Card. Your TAL card then be activated at Camrose Public Library. There is a Limit of 5 books. Holds and Inter-Library Loans are not available on TAL cards. |

Renewing Materials
Members now have the option of renewing materials by phone, through the Online Catalogue, or at the public access catalogues (IPAC's) in the Library. Items may be renewed up to three times. Items may not be renewed if there is currently a hold on them.
Late and Other Fees

25 cents per day late charge for each item. Once you have reached a maximum of $10 in fines on your library card you will be asked to clear up your account before further materials can be borrowed.

There are replacement charges and processing fees for lost or damaged items.
