Interlibrary Loans or Transit Holds

Looking for an item that we dont have at CPL? If the item is available at another Parkland Regional Library we can place a transit hold. If the item is not available within PRL we can complete an Inter-Library Loan and telephone you when the item is in. Also, you can now place inter-library loan requests on-line!

If you have a current Camrose Public Library card in good standing you can request books from any public library participating in The Alberta Library program and have the books sent to Camrose Public Library for you to pick up.  

Go to the website www.talonline.ca Search for the book you are looking for. 

Select request item and complete the online form.  A staff member from Camrose Public Library will contact you when the item arrives.   This is limited to books only and does not include audio-visual items such as audio-books, CD's, DVD's or videos.  Books must be at least 1 year old, new releases and best-sellers cannot be borrowed.  Thank you.
